Community Relations
John XXIII School hosts three evening groups per week. These groups include Scouts, Beavers and Brownies. Our Snoezelen Room is used by students from other schools within our board as students from outside of our board.
We have a class partnership with the Pro-Cathedral. Mrg David Tramontini visits the school. The parents at John XXIII School have been very involved with the school. Their fundraising efforts have served to make the yard and building more attractive.

The John XXIIII Catholic School Advisory Council plays a vital role in the life of our school. The partnership between school and community is an important one. The council helps to build a mutual understanding and interaction which benefits both the school and the parents. Our school council involves the community in the discussion of educational issues and helps the school to identify and respond to its educational needs. We achieve our goal through communication and feedback from all stakeholders. Whether parents volunteer in a fundraiser, or help to serve students a meal, if they attend meetings to provide input on our Code of Conduct, or discuss EQAO results, all of these activities benefit our school community. The CSAC is a valuable help to our school, it meets at least 4 times per year.
How We Live Our Catholic Faith
Our Mission Statement
Our mission at John XXIII School is to create an atmosphere of good will, harmony and concern for others and to provide a secure and optimum learning environment where the faith community of the school is nurtured - spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
We want all who learn and work here to grow into the sense of self worth that is essential to the pursuit of excellence. We are committed to observing and fostering personal growth in order that the goals of love for learning, respect for self and others and academic excellence may be realized by all.
It is our belief that every individual is unique, special and worthwhile and should always be treated as such.
