A Christmas Message from the Board Chair and Director of Education

In our Catholic schools, the season of Advent is a wonderful time of preparation. As we think about Christmas traditions and preparing “new” traditions this year, we invite our community to join us in sharing a moment of gratitude.

No doubt, 2020 has taught each of us many lessons, and challenged us in ways we never imagined. We have all had to practice resilience, agility and patience this year. We have also learned to find joy by celebrating small successes and finding balance in a world of constant change, through faith, reflection and prayer.

As we celebrate Advent at home, in our schools and in our parishes, we extend a sincere thank you to our families, staff and community partners who continue to inspire us to bravely face the challenges that may come our way, and to welcome optimism and spirituality at every invitation.

In welcoming God’s divine presence, may you all find peace, joy, love, and a reason for deep gratitude this Christmas.
