NPSC Catholic School Choirs Shine at Haleyfest 2024

As the first week of Advent draws to a close, we are pleased to highlight students and staff from across the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board (NPSC) who took part in Haleyfest. The two nights of concerts took place at the Betty Speers Theatre stage at the Capitol Centre on Tuesday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
Our NPSC school choirs showcased Christmas hymns of our Catholic faith featuring the following Catholic elementary schools: Our Lady of Fatima, Mother St Bride, St. Luke, Holy Cross, St. Hubert, St. Francis and St. Gregory. The evening was hosted by Dennis Chippa, with the attendees encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to The Gathering Place.
NPSC is very proud of all students and staff who participated in this festive, local tradition that helped us all embrace in this Advent season of Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to each staff member involved who supported our students to participate and showcase their wonderful vocal talents, with gratitude extended to NPSC Music teacher, Suzanne Charette for coordinating the music for the school choirs.
