NPSC warmly welcomes
Cadmus Delorme as the keynote presenter for the Board's August 28, 2024 Professional Activity Day:
Walking Together As Pilgrims of Hope!
Cadmus will facilitate his keynote with our NPSC community entitled:
What We All Inherited and the Role We Shall Play to Implement Truth and Reconciliation. This presentation will serve to support our continued NPSC journey as we travel the path of Truth and Reconciliation together as a community. Cadmus is both a humble and powerful speaker who shares his life journey through story, and through this shares messages regarding the importance of leadership on the path of Truth and Reconciliation.
Cadmus, a Cree and Saulteaux, is a citizen of the Cowessess First Nation. He was an elected Chief from 2016 to 2023. In 2023, Cadmus received an honorary degree from the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Institution and in 2021, he achieved an Institute of Corporate Director designation. As a part of his outstanding educational accomplishments, Cadmus received a Master of Public Administration from the Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy in 2016, previously attaining a Bachelor of Business Administration along with a Certificate in Hospitality, Tourism and Gaming Entertainment Management from the First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) in 2013.
In 2012, Cadmus was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his student leadership and the hospitality he showed to King Charles III and his Queen Consulate Camilla when they visited First Nations University of Canada in 2012. In 2022, Cadmus was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee. In 2015, Cadmus was named one of CBC Saskatchewan’s Future 40, which celebrates the province’s new generation of leaders, builders, and change-makers under the age of 40. During the time Cadmus served as Chief, his focus was on political sovereignty, economic self-sustainability, and cultural rejuvenation. In April 2023, Cadmus decided to not run for a third term and is now Partner to OneHoop Advisory Services and Partner to Flowing River Capital Group, which focuses on enhancing Truth and Reconciliation Call to Action #92, Business and Reconciliation, and #57, Professional Development. Cadmus lives with his wife Kimberly, brother-in-law, daughter and two sons on the Cowessess First Nation.
We extend a Gchi-miigwech to Cadmus for joining us and supporting us on our journey of Truth and Reconciliation.
We look forward to warmly welcoming Cadmus to NPSC!
