During the 2023-2024 school year, NPSC partnered with The Gathering Place to organize the inaugural NPSC Charity Volleyball tournament for our community in an effort to address the impacts of food insecurity and to support those in need in our community.
We were delighted to visit The Gathering Place on November 27 to present a donation of $2,521 raised through the recent tournament, which has become a regular community engagement event. NPSC is pleased to have raised $4,175 to date through these tournaments to support The Gathering Place.
We extend appreciation to NPSC staff Michelle Ricco, Manager of Health and Safety, and Bo Markovic, Facility Manager, for engaging our community to address food insecurity in a manner that also promotes healthy and active living.
Special gratitude is extended to Peter Gregory, Board Chair of The Gathering Place, and all of the incredible staff for their leadership and dedication as we, together, embrace our call to respond to those in need in our community!
