An award-winning youth empowerment strategy, this program is available to our NPSC schools K–12. The program is facilitated in partnership with George Couchie and classroom teachers. The program provides Indigenous and Non-Indigenous students with lessons that include teaching about the history, traditions, beliefs and cultures of Indigenous peoples including the Medicine Wheel. This powerful program serves to combat stereotypes, racism, prejudice and biases as well as involve parents, Elders, family and community in planning educational activities.
