The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is conducting a Child Care Program Needs Survey for the 2022-2023 school year. The goal of this survey is to understand the need for childcare programs for school aged children, and assist with child care program and service planning. We are asking all families to complete this survey on child care needs. The survey should take about five minutes to complete.

The Ministry of Health and our Public Health partners support the fact that vaccines are safe and continue to represent the most effective strategy to protect Ontarians from COVID-19. It is also important for the protection of our youngest children (0-4 years) who are not yet eligible for vaccine protection. The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit in collaboration with local school boards invite parents to complete a short survey to assist in the planning of future youth vaccination clinics in our district. The survey will be active until February 20th:

Virtual Learning Update January 2022

As you may already be aware, the Government of Ontario has confirmed that elementary and secondary schools in Ontario will be closed for in-class learning following the winter break until at least January 17, 2022. In order to ensure a smooth transition to remote learning for students and to provide time for our school staff to plan for these changes, remote learning for all students will begin Thursday January 6, 2022. NPSC staff will be working on Wednesday January 5, 2022 to prepare students for remote learning and for the distribution of technology.
