Mother St. Bride School is located near the downtown section of the City of North Bay. It was officially opened in 1965 as a senior elementary school with facilities for Music, Design and Technology, and Family Studies.
In 1980, Mother St. Bride School became a K–8 school. In 1994, the Board initiated a Junior Learning Skills class at Mother St. Bride School and in September 1997 an Intermediate Learning Skills class was started.
Presently, Mother St. Bride School continues to provide instruction for Junior Kindergarten to grade eight students. Mother St. Bride School also receives students from a neighboring feeder school, St. Alexander School (a Junior Kindergarten to grade 6 elementary school), for grade 7 and 8 instruction.
Mission
Mother St. Bride School endeavors to provide a peaceful environment that nurtures the growth of a faith community physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, based upon the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.
